2008 National Consumer Congress
Welcome
The National Consumer Congress is over for 2008 and I am delighted to be able to report on its success.
Feedback from both speakers and delegates has been overwhelmingly positive and I would like to congratulate the team from Consumer Protection who put together such a professional conference.
The two-day event attracted more than 240 delegates and highlighted both the changing nature of consumer policy and the benefits of learning from our colleagues around the world.
The value of personal contacts made at events such as the National Consumer Congress should also not be underestimated. We hope that some enduring professional relationships have been established and look forward to renewing acquaintances at the 2009 National Consumer Congress.
